Currency

The currencies used are the US Dollar or the Riel (1US Dollar = 4000 Riel)

You can pay throughout the country with US dollars.

We recommend taking $50 per person in cash for your trip and arrival in Cambodia (for unforeseen circumstances).

If you are traveling with cash, the euro-dollar exchange rate is more favorable here in Cambodia.

There are many ATMs available, however, bank fees are $5 per withdrawal plus bank charges.

In some hotels and restaurants, you can pay by card (3% fee).
